Jackson Pollock

Jackson Pollock (1912-1956) is regarded as the most prominent representative of the new direction in American painting following 1945. At the focus of this study are works in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, which boasts an excellent cross-sample of the artists work. The collection includes not only paintings, but also drawings and almost all of the printed graphics. Artworks from European collections supplement this overview.
