The young artist Jerry Haenggli (*1970), scion of the famous Robert family of Swiss painters, already began painting in his early childhood. Often dark, fantastic and mystical, his paintings reveal the influence of comics, horror films and science fiction, but are indebted above all to the world of medieval imagery. This book is chronologically organized into four phases of creative development (Salon noir, Salon rouge, Salon vert, Salon brun) and provides the first comprehensive overview of the artist's oeuvre. Jerry Haenggli lives and works in Bienne, Switzerland. His works have been featured in numerous exhibitions, including at the Galerie Art-Etage, Bienne, and c / o Suti Galerie & Edition, Bern.
