He has a special penchant for historical byways, the everyday cultural absurdities, and local peculiarities. In And now, back to Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Stollhans takes a look back at his place of birth. Jürgen Stollhans was born in 1962 in Rheda/Westfalen. He studied painting with Norbert Tadeus in Münster and sculpture with Erich Reusch at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf. He lives and works in Cologne.
